Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts the Amrita MBA Entrance Exam (ACAT), a pivotal national-level test that evaluates a candidate's potential for management education and leadership roles. This exam is the gateway to various MBA programs at our esteemed Coimbatore, Bengaluru, Kochi, Amaravati, and Amritapuri campuses.

ACAT 2026 Tentative Exam Schedule

ACAT Registration Dates

The registration window for ACAT 2026 is expected to open in October 2025 and continue till 26th January 2026. Candidates can register through the online portal by submitting personal, academic, and contact details, uploading documents, and paying the required application fee.

Admit Card Release Date

Admit cards will be available for download a week before the exam, around the last week of January 2026. The admit card will contain important details such as the exam center, reporting time, and candidate roll number.

ACAT 2026 Exam Date

The ACAT 2026 exam will be conducted in the 7th - 8th of February 2026. The test will be held in computer-based format (CBT), comprising questions on:

• Verbal Ability
• Quantitative Aptitude
• Logical Reasoning
• General Knowledge
• Reading Comprehension

The exam lasts 120 minutes (2 hours) and consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

Result and Selection Timeline

Results for ACAT 2026 will be declared in the first week of March 2026. Based on the exam score and overall profile, candidates will be shortlisted for:

• GD (Group Discussion)
• WAT (Written Ability Test)
• PI (Personal Interview)

These rounds will be conducted online or at designated campuses from February to March 2026.

The final merit list will be prepared based on:

• ACAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT score
• Academic performance
• GD-PI-WAT performance
• Work experience (if any)

Offer letters for selected candidates will be issued in April 2026, and the academic session will begin in June or July 2026
