About Jamia Millia Islamia

Jamia Millia Islamia is a public central university located in Delhi. It was established at Aligarh in United Provinces, India during British rule in 1920. It became a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1988. In order to respond to the ever-increasing demand for Full Time quality MBA programme established an autonomous Centre for Management Studies approved by the Executive Council of the University. The University constituted an Advisory Committee under the chairmanship of the Vice chancellor with prominent academicians and professional in management and business education as member to oversee and guide the programme of the Centre. The Centre for Management Studies presently offers three programmes viz. Ph.D. in Management, MBA (Full-Time) Programme and M.B.A. (International Business) Programme.

The Centre for Management Studies seeks to provide the best possible opportunities to its students and it disseminates all the pertinent skills and the right attitude required to produce a successful postgraduate in business administration. The Centre upgrades its syllabi frequently in order to keep pace with the changing need of the global business scenario. Moreover, the MBA programme at the Centre is guided by the board of management, which includes the best minds in management education and the corporate world.
