The AMS School of Informatics (AMSSOI as it is popularly known) is a unit of AMS, offering Post Graduate programs for girls leading to MCA and MBA degrees under the aegis of Osmania University. In the year 1994, AMS started the MCA program approved by the Osmania University. To take the MCA program forward, AMSSOI was established in the year 1998 and Prof Vanaja Iyengar was the prime force and founder of AMSSOI. MBA course was introduced in 2008. AMSSOI is one of the preferred institutions for girls pursuing MBA. The well equipped labs, spacious lecture halls, well established library, excellent and dedicated staff (having exposure to both industry and academics) ensure that the students acquire sound knowledge in various subjects in the IT & Management fields.
