Gauhati University, one of the oldest and most reputed institutions in Northeast India, offers a two-year full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program through its Department of Business Administration. Admission: To be eligible for the MBA program, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) from a recognized university. Admission is granted based on performance in national-level management entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, or GU's entrance test, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD-PI) round.

Accreditation: The MBA program is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and governed by the academic regulations of Gauhati University, a UGC-recognized public university.
