MICA 2017: Exam Date announced

About MICAT- MICA has announced the admission process for two-year, full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Communications (PGDM-C), 2017-19 batch. MICA Admission Test (MICAT) exam will be held on 11th December, 2016. Applications will open on last week of September, 2016 or first week of October 2016.

Eligibility- Graduates in any discipline (Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply)

MICAT – I Test date- 11th December, 2016 for online.

Issue of MICAT- I Call Letters/Admit Card -  2nd December, 2016

MICAT -I Score (Declare on the website) - 19th December, 2016

MICAT – II Test date- 12th February, 2017 for online.

Issue of MICAT- II Call Letters/Admit Card - 6th February, 2017

MICAT -II Score (Declare on the website) - 20th February, 2017

Last Date to apply - 25th Nov 2016 (Friday) for MICAT - I & 31st January 2017 (Tuesday)  for MICAT - II

GE & PI Shortlist - 23rd February, 2017

GE & PI at MICA, Ahmedabad - 9, 10 & 11th  March, 2017

GE & PI all cities - 17, 18, 19 & 20th March, 2017

MICAT: Testing pattern

MICA admission test, MICAT 2017 will be a multidimensional computer based examination, which consists of 6 sections: Psychometric (P), Verbal ability (VA), Quantitative ability (QA), General awareness (GA) , Divergent-Convergent Reasoning (DCR) and Descriptive Test (DT).

The Admission test also includes psychometric profiling to assess the candidate’s leadership potential.

MICAT 2017: Test cities

Following are the 14 test cities where MICAT 2017 will simultaneously be conducted on 11th December, 2016 as computer based exam.

Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai and Raipur.

No other Scores accepted

Candidates having valid scores in CAT 2016/XAT 2017/GMAT (2015 onwards) only can register and apply to MICA. Earlier MICA used to accept other scores also like MAT/CMAT/ ATMA, however from admission session 2017 onwards scores of one of the three exams mentioned above will be accepted by MICA. All those who apply shall have to take either MICAT - I or MICAT - II on 11th December, 2016 & 12th February, 2017.
