NMAT 2018: Exam date Announced
The National Management Aptitude Test or NMAT is organized by the Graduate Management Aptitude Council (GMAC) and is meant to shortlist candidates for graduate management courses. Clearing the admission test allows students to get admission into various management institutes such as Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Thapar University and so on.
The application form for the exam is available online through the official website. Form submission can also be submitted online. The examination date is from October to December. Registration process has already started from July and will end by October. Late registration begins on October and ends on October only. Results will be announced in January 2019.
The NMAT exam 2019 is a computer based exam like all major competitive exams. Questions are multiple choice objective types and the exam duration is of two hours. However, this exam does not have a negative marking system. The three sections of the exam are – logical reasoning, language skills and quantitative skills. Candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of this examination will then be called for a round of group discussion and personal interview and finally a written ability test. Those who are successful in all the four rounds are the ones who get selected for the courses. The NMAT by GMAC™ exam has three sections – Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning.
The three sections of the NMAT by GMAC™ are individually timed. Test takers must answer questions and review answers of each section within the allotted time. Test takers must review their answers before moving to another section of the exam, as once the candidate closes out of a section, all answers are final.
